This is a good vacuum but the suction is a problem. We have new, thick carpet with a texture and the suction was too powerful to move across the carpet. If you stop to pick something up, you can’t move the vacuum. Regular area rugs work fine on the carpet as do wood floors. The accessories are great too but it wasn’t a good product for our home.
